"Siberian Industry of Information Systems"

Goals of the Forum:

Making major directions concerning Siberian IT industry development within the framework of the Development Strategy of Siberia.
Assessing forms of participation of Siberian industry of information systems in various federal, industrial, and regional programs.
Presenting the technologies and solutions of Siberian IT-companies.
Enhancing investment infrastructure for the information technologies industry.
Assisting the consolidation of Siberian IT-companies.

The Forum gathers together producers and purchasers of information systems, investors, representatives of Federal Ministries and Departments, as well as Regional Authorities and international political and business establishment.

Items for Discussion

The Forum program features - an exhibition "Siberian Information Systems" and a conference dedicated to the most important questions of Russian and Siberian IT industry development.

The solutions and projects that Siberian IT-companies are going to present at the Exhibition can be suggested for implementation within the framework of federal, branch, and regional informatization programs.

The agenda of the Conference includes plenary and section meetings focusing on the following problems:

Organizational, methodological, and fund-raising mechanisms for developing IT-industry in the regions of Siberian Federal District;
Hardware and software for automating technological processes;
Box products – advantages, problems, and perspectives;
Integrated solutions for corporate business;
Data transmission systems and networks;
Educating and training IT-specialists – problems and solutions.

Roundtable discussions will focus on the ways of implementing the Development Strategy of Siberia and the Federal Principal Programs in Siberian Federal District.

Such programs as

"Electronic Russia 2001-2010", and
"Comprehensive Educational Information Environment 2001-2005",

can be best fulfilled only by a joint effort, so special attention will be given to the problem of consolidation of IT enterprises.

Conference

The participants of the Forum supposing inclusive appearance must offer the theses of the report up to September 25, 2002 for a preliminary inspection. The theses are accepted in the electronic form as text-file with HTML-making or as PDF- or PS-file.
The theses of the report can be presented

with the help of located below interface,
or as the file joined to the letter sent to address of organizing Committee.

Catalogue

The participants of the Forum wishing to place an information about the enterprise in the Catalogue of the Forum must take into account, that this Catalogue will become the first edition widely enveloping the Siberian IT-industry. It will be distributed among the participants and visitors of the Forum - probable investors, representatives of the Federal ministries and departments, regional administrations.
The Catalogue will enable actual chance to involve the attention of the customers and investors to Your Company.

The advertisement in the Catalogue

The Organizing committee of the First regional Forum "Siberian Industry of Information Systems" offers to place advertisement in the Catalogue of the Forum.
We remind, that this Catalogue will become the first edition widely enveloping Siberian IT-industry.
It will be distributed among the representatives of the federal ministries and departments, regional administrations, investors, representatives of foreign political and business circles.

The rates of Organizing Fee for the perticipations of the Forum are determined in the dependence from selected form of participation and in the accordance to the next rules:

Additional information

The meetings will pass in the House of Scientists of SB RAS.
For the foreign participants of the Forum the hotel «Gold valley», located in Academytown, will be reserved.
It's supposed the meeting of participants, previously informed about the arrival (date, time, number of train, coach; number of airplane).
Independently it is possible to reach Academytown by the bus 808 (***) from airport, from railway station «Novosibirsk» by a routing taxi N 15, and from stations of the underground «River station» - by buses 8, 601, 622 and by a routing taxi N 15.
